You can choose between researching:
mobile phone/tablet/laptop batteries
or
electric vehicle batteries
You may work in pairs or alone to research this topic.
Your product should be a powerpoint presentation sent to me, karin DOT parker( AT)eduouka.fi by the deadline which you will be given in the lesson. If you work in a pair, you should indicate on the slides who contributed what to the project.
You should include:
- a diagram of the battery including the anode and cathode and electrolyte (the chemical inside)
- discussion of battery lifetime, including expected time in use and recharging time (detailed calculation of Ah and power are NOT expected)
- any dangers with these batteries, including their disposal
Sources should be included on a final slide as links. MLA format is NOT expected.
