The Spring Exhibition will be in the gym, Yr 9 Spring exhibition: Wed 6.5 at 8.15-11.30
Working skills criteria, as given by the school (login to eduouka may be required)
- Choose a project from one of your subjects that you want to present
- Let the teacher know that you have chosen a project from that subject
- Teachers of each subject inform students how they will assess their subject´s work if a student chooses it
- Work on the project independently according to the subject teacher´s instructions & assessment criteria as well as working skills criteria
- Plan how you will present your project in the Gym hall to other students, teachers and families
Physics specific stuff:
Your work can contribute to your final grade for physics. Put very simply:
- If you do nothing on your project above and beyond what you have covered in lessons, there is zero impact on your physics grade.
- If your work demonstrates:
an understanding of an aspect of physics beyond the grade 9 curriculum
or
an experimental or research technique beyond the grade 9 curriculum
then your physics grade can be raised (unless it is already at a 10)
If you are somewhere in between these stages two and your current grade is at a 'borderline' between two numbers, then we can discuss your project in detail and you can demonstrate to me that you are worthy of the higher number!
Grading info - for your project itself
