Missed lesson

Missed lessons: it is your responsibility to catch up with the work before the next lesson. This is in the school rules. It is also really important if you want to have all the work for tests. You will not get any sympathy or test concessions if you do not catch up as the resources are here !

Grade 9 Chemistry

Grade 9 Chemistry  Lessons for Autumn 2018

 Assessments:
Test date:      October 12 or 15  The test will be open notebook, but you may not bring your Ilmiö book along.
Study guidance for open note tests here.

Guidance for this test :

  • you will not have to draw long, complicated molecules but will need to recognise them, e.g. the homologous group(family)they belong to, and name based on the number of carbon atoms.
  • your homeworks and notes from 'An Inconvenient Truth' will be important- there is a reflection task in the test (for Crit. D) so notes you have taken will be useful
